Un dato curioso, después de todo el avance de la tecnología y la migración de las maquinas arcade a consolas en caseras, solo queda un fabricante de maquinas de pinball en el mundo y esta en Chicago. Muchos fuimos a las “Chispas”, “Maquinitas” etc… y adorábamos jugar estas maquinas, pero que ha pasado con ellas?. Stern Pinball INC es la única empresa que hace esas maquinitas, antes solía fabricar al año mas de 27 mil , ahora su demanda ha bajado a poco menos de 10 mil, muchas de ellas para casas. 
Hacer estas maquinas es una artesanía, llevan alrededor de 3500 componentes, esperemos que la nostalgia por estas maquinitas mantenga viva a esta compañía.
